Mallorie's Hula

Mallorie learned a special hula just for Eric. She danced it for him right after their first dance as husband and wife.

Yay for Eric and Mallorie!

We had a fun weekend! My little brother married Mallorie Flores on Saturday morning at the Los Angeles Temple. The kids were so happy to get to finally dress up in their new nice clothes. Belle had some issues with the crowds and wouldn't leave my side, but everyone had a great time together. Jared took about 300 pictures, but I just put some of our favorites below.

Belle loved my bouquet and pretended it was hers.

I think these two thought they were the security or something.

Caleb loves Mallorie!

All the siblings together!

More posing from the boys. They were such a crack-up.

My nephew Logan, isn't he adorable?

Isabelle exploring. That is Eric and Mallorie in the background.

Belle being shy.

All the girls with Eric

My poor baby Belle got a little sunburn.

The first dance

Tawny and Alan, my two older siblings.

Caleb and Isabelle hiding under our table

Dancing the night away

Grandpa and Belle. She is trying to get the camera.

Weee!!!!

She wanted someone to spin her around all night long.

That girl loves to fly

More mom!! I am soooo dizzy in this picture!

How many necklaces can she pile on?

So I am trying to teach Belle that when it comes to accessorizing, less is more. I don't think she quite gets it, do you?

Cedward!

So I found a new favorite shirt! It says "Cedward So...avada kedavra just turns you into a really hot vampire? great plan voldy." I think that is soo funny. I am loving some of the stuff people are coming up with! For those who don't understand, the same actor who played Cedric Diggory in Harry Potter Goblet of Fire was cast to play Edward in Twilight. If you still don't get it, sorry, I'm not getting into that much detail here. But its funny, trust me!

Fursplode!

K, so this is probably the best review I have read yet of the Twilight series. Beware it contains spoilers, so if you havent' read something and don't want to know about it, don't look! There is some bad language, although not nearly what I have seen on other reviews. But I was cracking up as I read this, and have a new favorite word, Fursplode! Hope you enjoy!

Already??

Well, we took Belle in for her 2 year check up today (I know, I'm two months behind, sorry). Poor think became a human pincushion today. I really love our pediatrician cause she is very thorough in everything. Part of that though turns into extra needles sometimes though. Belle got one vaccination in her leg, they pricked her thumb and squeezed out a couple of drops of blood to check for anemia, and then the kicker. Poor girl thought she was all done, but we then walked to the lab where she had to get blood drawn from the crook of her elbow to monitor her lead levels. Her readings have always been normal, but my pediatrician likes to watch them, because of all the toy recalls and such. Out of the 4 pediatricians my children have gone to, she is the only one to ever check this. The good news about Belle's checkup? She gained weight!! That's right, she now weighs a whopping 27.5 lbs! I know, sarcasm. But hey, it's up from 26 last time, right? She is my long skinny girl. While we were there, I asked the doctor to look at one of Caleb's moles. It is a big one on his lower right leg, and he has had it since birth. Lately I have noticed it is starting to get darker, almost black in the center. I come from a family where lots of moles have had to be removed, so this is not entirely unexpected, but already??? He is only 4!! Oh well. He gets to go have it biopsied next week, which will be an adventure I'm sure. I'm making Jared take off work so he gets to share in the excitement!! I'm thinking I'm going to let him experience holding a child down for needles, I had enough of that today with Belle!

Breaking Dawn!

Ok, so I got the book at 12:10am, was home about 12:45, and sat down to start reading it at 1am. I finished it at 6am, and wow, LOVED IT!!!! It was a fun night, and I am so glad I went to the release party. I had a great time hanging with Tricia, Katie, and Kyra, laughing at all the high school age girls in their formals, and waiting Forever to get face painting, only to jump out of that line to get in the book line at 11:45. It was a great night, and I took my camera with me to get some pics, but of course it ended up staying in my purse for most of the night. I got a couple fo the crowd though, and I will add those when I am feeling a bit more alive (going on 2 hours sleep right now!) So yeah, loved the book, weird cause what I thought would never happened, or couldn't happen, she made work. Very cool, loved it. I won't spoil it for anyone, but go read it!

Breaking Dawn... 13 1/2 hours and counting!!!

So, am I the only dork out there who is thinking about going to a midnight release party? Just wondering...
