Orange Squeeze

Belle's preschool class had their spring field trip today. We went to Heritage House in La Verne, and Isabelle had a blast!

Started out with a tractor-pulled ride.

They got to see bugs. Exciting, huh? :)

Belle pumped some water the old-fashioned way.

And at the end, the part she had been waiting for! Washing her orange!

All clean and cut, ready to make juice!

Pushing hard to squeeze out all the juice.

Yummy! Fresh oj! Belle is my little orange addict, and downed her juice faster then any other kid.

After they juiced the oranges, they got to plant a flower in the rind. The point is you then plant it in your garden, and the rind feeds the flower as it decomposes! Pretty cute!
