So how Mormon are we?

So we just got back from a little shopping expedition during a break in the rain.  Well, we made a stop at a local Gamestop while we were out, to look at some new games and while in the store, Jared starts nudging me.  I'm like what?  And he says, look who that is, doesn't he look familiar?   I look and i'm like yeah, he looks familiar, and Jared says, it's the guy from the Other Side of Heaven!  And sure enough it was!  Now this is how Mormon we are, I'm thinking, ok, what other stuff has been in since that movie came out?  And all of a sudden it clicked, and I started laughing so hard.  Yeah, we recognized him from the Other Side of Heaven, but I bet most people would have realized, hey, its Henry!  From Ugly Betty!  Yeah, We are SOOOOO Mormon.  I wanted to get a picture of him, but he had his sons with him, so I didn't want to go up and bug him. Not to say I didn't try with my cell, but Jared kept blocking me, so I gave up.  The above picture was the best I got.

Yes, that is really her snoring!

So my lovely little girl has this problem.  She is very loud when she sleeps.  Seriously, like, really loud.  She has inherited this from her daddy, who is also very loud.  So here is our little princess snoring away.  Do you think they make Breathe Rights in children's sizes?

Pony Rides!

Today we went to the pony rides at the Lakewood Equestrian Center.  This was the last of his birthday stuff.  He requested to go see the ponies so off we went.  He and Belle had a great time feeding the goats and riding the ponies aorund.  Belle did not want to leave, she loves her horsies!  Here are a few pictures.

It was a fun day for the kids, and we had a great time!

Thank You Mickey!!

We had a fun birthday trip to Disneyland.  Because we are anual passholders, Caleb didn't need the free admission into the park, so instead, passholders can get a "Birthday Fun Card."  We had so much fun, it is a gift card that was worth $59 (the value of a child's admission into the park).  The crowds were pretty small that day, so Caleb got to pick out his favorite rides and do a lot of shopping!  Our first stop was City Hall, so Caleb could get his birthday button, and while we were there, Goofy called and sang Happy Birthday to him!  Caleb couldn't quite believe it, it was so cute. Normally I just let the kids wave at the characters as we walk past, because I refuse to stand in a huge line to see them, but the lines were super short today, like only 2 or 3 groups of people at each character!  So we saw Mickey, Minnie, Donald Duck, and Goofy, all in about 15 minutes right in front of the theatre where they do the annual passes.  We saved our shopping for the very end, and there was one thing Caleb has wanted to do for awhile, but I've always said no.  Well, yesterday was his, so he got to go and build his very own lightsaber.  Of course, that meant mommy got to build it while he supervised which parts he wanted.  We went through and looked at some more toys, let me tell you, I thought we'd use that gift card up fast, but it took forever!  We were all shopped out by the time the lastof the money was spent, but Caleb was one happy boy looking at all his bags.  It was a great birthday, and thanks to Disneyland, it cost me practically nothing!!
PS Sorry, I can never upload my pictures in order for some reason.

Uh oh!  Goofy stole Caleb's button from him!

Waiting to go on the rockets

Caleb's loot.  A baby Mickey, an Indiana Jones Mickey, two Disney Racers (Jack Skellington and Oogie Boogie) and his new lightsaber.

Here he is showing it all off.  The lightsaber is clear, and when you turn it on, it glows red.

In the Star Wars store, waiting to pay for his lightsaber (I said they were out of order)

I tried to get a cute picture of the two of them in toon town in one of the cars, but out of six pictures, these were the best two.  They do not like to look at the camera at the same time,

Happy Birthday Caleb!!!

Happy Birthday to my Caleb!!!  He is 5 years old today!!!  He actually already is 5, as he was born at 12:35 am.  He gets to have a fun-filled birthday, as he is heading off to school in a minute, where he gets to have his special spiderman cupcakes he picked out himself.  Then it'll be off to Disneyland after lunch!  We have passes, so instead of free admission, he gets a giftcard in the value of a childs ticket to spend in any store!  Its a Disney shopping spree for him!  I love my boy, and am so glad I've had him with me these last 5 years, man it has just flown by.

Here he is this morning with his cupcakes.

Right after he was born, 7 lbs 12 oz

Thats my nose!  I'm holding him right after he was born.

One of Jareds favorite pictured of Caleb.  He was around 4 months here.

Sorry, my pictures got a little out of order.  This is Caleb in the hospital, about one day old.  The nurses had never seen a little boy with so much blond hair!

My happy little chunker.

Around 18 months on his first horse.  Gotta love it when they bring a pony to the parking lot of the Burger King across the street and offer free 5x7's.

Happy Birthday Caleb!!!

Santa's Visit

My in-laws were able to arrange a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus this year when we were there Christmas Eve.  I thought I would share our family pics from when they came cause they came out pretty good.  Caleb and Isabelle were both in awe needless to say.  Santa gave Caleb his Leapster and Belle a stroller with a baby tiger in it.  Needless to say, she pushed that around the house all night long.  It was a great visit, and the kids will remember it for a long time, Caleb is still talking about it!
